On August 13 and 14 we are hosting the Virtual Scale Summit, two free mornings built for operators who are tired of AI hype and ready for what actually moves revenue. Alongside it runs the Lata Pitch, where founders of real, revenue generating companies present their business to an executive board that can actually back them. Both exist for the same reason this post does: over the last year we have learned a great deal about what it takes to sell and support high ticket B2B offers, first inside our own business, then inside our clients' businesses. This is what we have found.
Why a summit, and why a pitch stage
Most virtual events are content marketing wearing a lanyard. We wanted something different: a room where the people on stage run real companies and the people in the audience leave with moves they can make that quarter. Two mornings, five plus speakers, one pitch stage, zero dollars, and every session recorded for registrants. Our headliner is a three time Emmy winning journalist, and the rest of the lineup is operators: founders, a strategic growth advisor who has guided billion dollar market entries, and a multi location practice owner who rebuilt his patient acquisition engine with us and will show the numbers.
The Lata Pitch is the part we are proudest of. Founders apply, the strongest present live to executives from our holdings group, and the best walk out with real backing: capital conversations, operating support, and the marketing and software machine we run for our own portfolio. It is not a demo day for applause. It is a working session with people who buy, build, and scale companies.
What actually works in high ticket sales enablement
We support clients selling five and six figure engagements in software, compliance, logistics technology, professional services, and industrial services. Different industries, same physics. High ticket buyers do not impulse buy, they de risk. Everything that works reduces perceived risk before the first call and accelerates trust after it.
Here is what we see working, consistently, across those industries:
- Discovery calls beat demos. The fastest path to a high ticket close is a real conversation about the buyer's operation, not a feature tour. We build outbound to earn a discovery call, nothing more. Sequences that try to sell the whole engagement in an email sell nothing.
- Peer level copy from the call. The best performing follow ups and proposals borrow the buyer's own words from the conversation. Enablement material written in vendor language gets filed. Material written in the buyer's language gets forwarded to the CFO.
- Proof at the buyer's altitude. Compliance buyers want audit trails and reliability numbers. Software buyers want integration depth and time to value. Industrial buyers want field results with dates and counts. One of our energy services clients leads with well counts, spud to TD days, and a 98.97 percent tool reliability rate. That page closes arguments a brochure never could.
- Speed is a feature. Inbound leads answered the same hour convert at a different order of magnitude than leads answered the next day. We wire every client form so a lead lands in the inbox and the CRM pipeline at the same second, with the follow up owner already assigned.
- The written record wins. High ticket deals have multiple stakeholders who were not on the call. Clean recaps, one page proposals, and a public site that answers the hard questions let your champion sell for you when you are not in the room.
How we power the work with AI, and where humans stay in charge
We are not an AI company that discovered marketing. We are operators who ran the work by hand for years and then built AI into the parts of it that machines genuinely do better. Today our engines research, draft, publish, monitor, and report around the clock: content pipelines that produce long form authority articles on schedule, outreach systems that watch every reply across five inboxes, dashboards that pull live numbers from ad platforms, search consoles, CRMs, and analytics so nobody reports from memory.
But every engine has a human at the wheel. Strategy, positioning, pricing, the judgment call on a sensitive email, the read on whether a lead is real: that is leadership work, and it stays with people who have carried a quota and run a P&L. Our clients get the leverage of automation with the accountability of experienced operators. That combination is the whole thesis of the summit: scale the work with AI, win the results with humans.
Using our own data to scale, and watching clients do the same
We instrument everything we run, for ourselves first. Every visit, every form submit, every reply, every published post feeds a command center we look at daily. That data changed how we operate: we moved ad budget when the numbers showed engagement without conversion, rebuilt landing pages when paid visitors did not register, and shifted our outreach from feature language to origin story language when reply data told us the story out converted the pitch.
The clients growing fastest are the ones doing the same thing. The practice owner speaking at the summit tracks patient acquisition cost by channel and lets the dashboard, not habit, decide where the next dollar goes. Our software and compliance clients review pipeline dashboards weekly and treat their website like a sales instrument with a number attached, not a business card. The pattern is boringly consistent: companies that measure their funnel scale it, and companies that guess stay the same size while working harder.
Come see it live
The Virtual Scale Summit runs August 13 and 14, from 9:00 to 11:30 AM CST, fully virtual and completely free, and every registrant gets the recordings. You will hear exactly how we and our clients apply all of the above, and you will watch founders take the Lata Pitch stage in front of an executive board with real skin in the game.
If you run a company and any part of this sounded familiar, two mornings is a small trade for a reset quarter. Save your free seat here.
