See which search sent the inquiry, and which date it booked.
Built for a photographer or a small studio shooting weddings, portraits or commercial work, whoever runs the marketing. TruLata reads your Google accounts, your Business Profile reviews, your Instagram where it is connected, your studio CRM where it connects and the inquiries from your own site's forms, runs the watching and the drafting on a schedule while you are shooting or editing, and shows you which inquiry booked.

Is this built for a photographer?
Yes. It is built for a photographer who sells sessions and coverage: weddings and elopements, family, senior and newborn portraits, headshots, events, or commercial work for brands, restaurants and real estate listings. A studio with associate shooters or a second location fits the same way. The marketing may be the photographer's own, done on a weeknight between culling one gallery and editing the next, or a studio manager's who also answers the inquiries; a studio with a marketer on staff gets the same screen. The search, the ads, the content and the counting run on a schedule whether anyone had time this week, every inquiry is counted from your own site, and one screen shows what happened and what it cost.
An inquiry for photography starts with a date. A couple has a wedding date and a venue, a family has a weekend in the fall, a business has a launch or a listing going live. They find you through a search, your Instagram, a venue's vendor list or a friend's gallery, then read the portfolio for work that looks like the day they have in mind, read the reviews for how you were to work with, and check whether your investment page fits. Then they send the inquiry and ask the first question: are you available.
Some inquiries arrive as shared leads. A lead marketplace sells the same request to several photographers at once, and you are answering it beside every one of them; an inquiry from your own site's form is yours alone. The comparison with bought leads is on mechanism, not on a marketplace price we would have to invent. So the screen puts each inquiry in front of you the day it lands, with the date, the kind of shoot and the page it came from on the row, and asks one question when you are done with it: what did it become. Won is the date on your calendar with a signed contract.

What does the screen read for a photographer?
It leads with inquiries. When someone fills in the inquiry form on your site, the form handler appends the row to a lead sheet server-side and emails you, and the Leads view reads that sheet newest first. Where your form asks for the date, the kind of shoot and the venue or location, each answer is written to the sheet and read on the row, so a wedding inquiry for a date next year and a headshot request for next week read differently at a glance. The sheet records the page the form was on and, where the form captures them, the traffic source, the landing page, the referrer and any UTM or click identifier, so an inquiry sent from a gallery page says which gallery. Mark each inquiry from the screen, contacted, quoted, won or lost, or not a lead with the reason, and the mark stays on the row.
Google Analytics 4 gives sessions, sources, pages and the key events you count, hours behind during the day, and for a photographer the pages are the portfolio: which wedding gallery, which portrait collection, which blog feature of a real session was read before an inquiry was sent. A visit from a venue's vendor list or a wedding directory shows as its own referral source. Search Console gives the queries you appeared for, impressions, clicks and average position, two to three days behind; for a photographer those queries are the kind of shoot and the place, wedding photographer, family photographer near me, headshots, a venue's name with photographer after it, and the positions are Search Console's own averages, not a rank tracker.
Google Business Profile gives reviews, rating and listing performance through a manager invitation you can revoke. Where your Instagram and Facebook are connected, the Social view shows followers, engagement and top posts by platform, read only, on Meta's schedule, so the reel from last weekend's wedding sits beside the inquiries that followed it. Where your studio runs on a CRM, it connects during setup like any other source with an API, and the Jobs view reads the job pipeline live, with a coming-soon card rather than a number until the data is trustworthy. Google Ads gives spend, conversions and cost per conversion by campaign. Client galleries, contracts and invoices stay in your gallery and studio software today, and card data is never read. Your inbox and calendar stay outside the screen today and connect during setup where your engagement calls for them, and an inquiry sent to your email or through a directory counts where your CRM records it.

What runs while you are shooting, and what waits for a person?
Your Google Ads account is watched every morning. At 7:05 Eastern the ads change watch reads the account's change history and its user list, sets our own writes and routine noise aside, and raises a material change made by anyone else the same morning, including a recommendation Google applied on its own. A setting switched on while you were at a wedding, or a new address given access to the account, reaches the team the next morning rather than at the end of the month. Where we manage your search campaigns on all tiers, a budget or bid change is made within the limits set for your engagement and lands in your account's own change history, so opening spend for the dates you still have free and easing it when the calendar fills are decisions with a record behind them.
On Launch, Growth and Command, the content engine researches and drafts, on your cadence, the articles a client reads before an inquiry: how a wedding day timeline is built around the light, what a second shooter does, what to wear for a family session, how a headshot session runs, how to choose a photographer for a venue. Each topic passes a demand gate on real search volume and what already occupies the result page, the research cites current sources, the dedupe reads the titles already published on your site, and each piece is filed as a Google Doc in your Drive with a featured image. Auto-publish is a per-client setting and approval is optional, so the words beside your photographs read the way you would write them. On Growth and Command, Meta ads run alongside search, and the Creative view appears where we build the ad creative, with approval there where you want it.
On Command, the outbound engine sources prospects weekly to the target profile set with you, which for a photographer is the people who refer and hire again: wedding planners and venue coordinators with a vendor list, real estate agents and brokerages with listings to shoot, and the marketing leads at local businesses who need headshots or product work. It finds a deliverable address or routes the prospect to a contact-form path and drafts into a review-first queue; a person releases the emails, or the queue releases them on the schedule set for the engagement, and every send is logged with the draft, the mailbox and the time. Replies are classified and shown, and not-interested or bounced addresses are suppressed from further sends.
Every day at 7:20 Eastern, where your forms feed the sheet, the lead watch runs five checks across the sheet, GA4 and Ads, so a dead tag, a blind ad account or an inquiry form that stopped submitting is flagged the next day rather than at the end of the quarter. Every night at 12:01 Central a fallback snapshot is baked, and a failed pull leaves the previous page up. What stays with a person is the judgement: the limits on spend, and anything that answers a couple or a client. Your reply to an inquiry, the proposal and the contract stay with you and your studio software today. From the screen you can set a lead outcome, request a website change, and request a content, keyword, category or targeting change; each lands with the team as a logged ticket, and the engine's writes to your ad accounts and your site go through their APIs and land in each account's own change history.

Can I see it before I sign anything?
Yes, with your name and email in front of it. The demo is the same engine code every client runs, pointed at a fictional company called Meridian so it can be public. Every number is invented, and the screen says so. Open the Leads view, the Analytics view and the search view and you are looking at the screen a photographer gets, with your sources in place of Meridian's.
Then picture it on your own business. You shoot for people and companies who find you by search, by Instagram and by referral, and whoever runs the marketing does it between shoots and edits. That is the photographer this page, the setup and the tiers are written for, one shooter or a studio. Part of it runs on your own numbers during setup: the first pull, the answer-engine baseline and the ads watch run on your accounts in the first two weeks, before most of the engines are switched on. If you want the work done as a service rather than run as a system, the services side is the other door.
One thing about the search view is worth knowing before you open it. Ranking is not earning, so the view puts the inquiries your own forms took beside the queries and positions that earned them. A position there is Search Console's average for that query, not a rank tracker's guess. A gallery that drew a crowd and a gallery that booked a date are told apart on the same screen.

Which tier fits a photographer?
Starter includes the TruLata dashboard, full analytics, leads, search visibility, the AI visibility program, managed Google Ads search, the assistant and briefings and support tickets. The content engine is on Launch, Growth and Command. Meta ads, for Instagram and Facebook campaigns built around your own work, are on Growth and Command. The outbound engine, for planner, venue, agent and brand introductions, is on Command. Command adds the outbound engine, ad creatives and your full marketing team, always on.
Seats are three on Starter, three on Launch, ten on Growth and unlimited on Command, so you and a studio manager or an associate each sign in with your own, and a seat you remove is revoked within 30 seconds. Starter is $400 a month, Launch $650, Growth $1,200, and Command is scoped per engagement. Every tier is month to month with nothing metered, and committing annually takes twenty to twenty-five percent off the monthly. The pricing page carries the same figures as every other page.

Can your team run it for me?
Yes, through two doors. Managed TruLata is our team running the program on your accounts, with the strategy, the optimization and the approvals on our side, and every change we make lands in your account's own change history, which the same 7:05 Eastern watch reads and sorts as ours. Local services marketing is TruLata's agency work for the same buyer, with search and paid search with a daily account watch among it. Either way your weeknights go back to the edit, and we stay on the marketing.

What a photographer's screen reads, and how fresh it is.
| What | Where it comes from | How fresh |
|---|---|---|
| Wedding, portrait and commercial inquiries | Your site's forms, appended to a lead sheet server-side and emailed to you; the Leads view reads it newest first | Live, the moment the form is submitted |
| Sessions, sources, portfolio pages, key events | Google Analytics 4, a directory or a venue's vendor list as its own referral source | Hours behind intraday |
| Queries, impressions, clicks, average position | Search Console; its own average positions, not a rank tracker | 2 to 3 days behind |
| Reviews, rating, listing performance | Google Business Profile, with our Google account as a manager you can revoke | Refreshed with each pull; the header stamp says when |
| Followers, engagement, top posts | Instagram and Facebook, where connected, read only | On Meta's schedule |
| Job pipeline | Your studio CRM, where it connects during setup | Live; a coming-soon card until the data is trustworthy |
| Spend, conversions, cost per conversion | Google Ads, by campaign | Intraday lags hours; change history read daily at 7:05am ET |
While you are shooting on a Saturday, the inquiries from your forms are live on the screen, Google Ads numbers run hours behind, Instagram arrives on Meta's schedule, and Search Console runs two to three days behind. The header stamp says when each pull ran, the Refresh button forces a new one and never shows an error, and a failed pull leaves the previous page up rather than a blank one.
Questions, answered.
Can I see which gallery an inquiry came from?
Yes. The sheet records the page the form was on and, where the form captures them, the landing page, the referrer and any UTM or click identifier, so an inquiry sent after reading a wedding gallery says which one. GA4 shows the portfolio pages read across all visits, hours behind during the day.
Does it read my studio CRM?
Where your studio runs on a CRM with an API, it connects during setup and the Jobs view reads the job pipeline live, with a coming-soon card rather than a number until the data is trustworthy. Our team makes that connection from the inside with the access you grant, and we never hold your passwords. Galleries, contracts and invoices stay in your studio software.
Do directory and email inquiries count?
An inquiry that reaches you through a directory or by email counts where your CRM records it. A visit from a directory or a venue's vendor list shows in GA4 as its own referral source. The inquiries the screen counts on its own are submissions from your website's forms, written to a sheet server-side as they land.
Does it replace the leads I buy?
It counts a different kind of lead. A marketplace lead is a shared lead, the same request sold to several photographers at once. The leads on the screen are inquiries from your own forms; a bought lead shows in your pipeline where your CRM records it. Whether you keep buying is your call, and <a href="/product/compare/buying-leads">the buying leads page</a> compares the two on mechanism.
Will anyone change my ad budget without me knowing?
A budget or bid change is made within the limits set for your engagement, and every change in the account lands in Google's own change history, which the watch reads at 7:05 Eastern every morning and sorts by who made it. Recommendations Google applies on its own are raised the same morning. Who has access to the account is read directly every day, because change events do not log it.
What does it cost for a photographer?
Starter is $400 a month, Launch $650, Growth $1,200, and Command is scoped per engagement. Seats are three on Starter, three on Launch, ten on Growth and unlimited on Command. Every tier is month to month with nothing metered, and a managed strategy retainer sits on top of any tier, scoped with you rather than priced on this site; <a href="/product/managed">the managed page</a> says what our team takes on.
