See which marketing brought in each new prospect, read live from your Wealthbox.

Paste a Wealthbox API access token once and TruLata reads your CRM: new contacts on the Leads tab with the contact source your firm recorded, and every opportunity on the Jobs tab with its stage, its fee or commission and whether it was won or lost. TruLata only reads, so your contacts, households and workflows stay yours to run in Wealthbox.

What will I see from Wealthbox?

Your contacts and your opportunities, in two places. The Leads tab lists every contact added in the last 90 days, newest first, with the name, email and phone Wealthbox marks as principal, the contact type and the contact source. The Jobs tab reads your opportunities: every open one whatever its age, plus every one won or lost over the last 12 months, each with its stage and value.

The value of an opportunity is its Fee, Commission and Other amounts added together. Assets under management are not revenue, so an AUM amount is never added into the value, and an opportunity that holds only AUM shows its value as unknown, never as zero.

Where does the lead source come from?

From Wealthbox itself. Every Wealthbox contact carries a contact source, such as Referral, Conference, Direct Mail or Cold Call, or one your firm added. TruLata shows it beside the contact on the Leads tab and beside each opportunity, read from the first contact the opportunity is linked to.

A contact with no source shows Wealthbox as its source and nothing else, rather than a guess.

How does TruLata tell a won opportunity from a lost one?

From the stage your team moves it to. An opportunity in a stage named like won, signed, funded or onboarded counts as won, and one in a stage named like lost or declined counts as lost. A closed opportunity whose stage says neither is read by its probability: 100 percent is won and 0 is lost. Everything else is the open pipeline.

How do I connect Wealthbox?

In Wealthbox, open Settings, then API Access, and press Create Access Token. Paste the token into the Wealthbox card on the Integrations tab of your dashboard and press Connect. TruLata reads your account once with it to check it works, then stores it encrypted. The account owner or an admin of your TruLata account makes the connection.

On an account our team runs for you, we connect it with you during setup.

Can TruLata change anything in Wealthbox?

No. TruLata only ever reads from Wealthbox: it never creates, edits or deletes a contact, an opportunity, a task, a note or a workflow. Every change is made in Wealthbox itself, by your team.

The token is stored encrypted and never sent to a browser, yours included. Press Disconnect on the Wealthbox card and TruLata deletes the token. You can also revoke it yourself in Wealthbox under Settings, API Access.

How fresh is what I see?

Live. The Leads tab reads the last 90 days of new contacts from Wealthbox when it opens, and the Jobs tab reads your opportunities on every open, holding them for at most 90 seconds so a double click does not read twice. A prospect your team adds this morning is on the screen the next time anyone looks.

A source that fails says so. If Wealthbox does not answer, its card says Could not read and nothing is counted as zero. Records named test are left out before anything is counted. The live data page covers the clock on every other source.

Why put my Wealthbox pipeline on a marketing dashboard?

Because a new client relationship is where the marketing pays off for an advisory firm. The Leads view counts every form, call and referral, the ads view records what you spent, and the Jobs tab shows which of those became opportunities you won and what they are worth in fees. Read the three on one screen instead of matching a prospect list against Wealthbox at the end of the quarter.

Ask TruLata and your morning briefing read the same pipeline, so a question like which source brought the most won opportunities this quarter is answered from your own Wealthbox data. The financial advisors page covers the rest of what TruLata does for a practice.
