Who texts you
TruLata LLC, a marketing services firm. Our representatives phone owners and staff of local service businesses. Texts come from a TruLata phone number, and replies reach the same representative.
How you opt in
Opt-in is verbal, on a live phone call with a TruLata representative. Nobody is texted because their number appears in a list. A representative may text you only after you say yes when they ask, in these words:
"Can I text you that? It comes from TruLata, only about what we talked about, no more than 3 texts a day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out any time. Is this the best mobile number?"
You can also opt in by texting one of our numbers first. We reply only to what you asked.
How consent is recorded
Representatives send texts only from the TruLata calling console. The text window shows the words above, and neither the window nor our server will send a text until the representative checks They asked me to text them. Each text is saved with the business, the representative who sent it and the time.

What we send
The information you asked for on the call, a link to book a short demo, and answers to your questions. Our first text names TruLata and ends with "Reply STOP to opt out." For example:
Hi Dana, thanks for the call. Here is the link to pick a time for the 15 minute demo: (booking link) - Maaviz, TruLata. Reply STOP to opt out.
How often, and when
Message frequency varies with the conversation and is never more than 3 texts a day. We text only between 8am and 9pm in your time zone. Message and data rates may apply.
HELP and STOP
Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts from us. You get one message confirming you are opted out, and nothing after it. STOP also takes your number off our calling list.
Your privacy
We do not sell your number. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The full text message terms are in our Terms of Use, and how we handle your number is in our Privacy Notice.
