See what your ads inside ChatGPT spent, and what they brought in.
Paste the API key you create in ChatGPT Ads Manager, and the ChatGPT Ads tab reads your own ad account: spend, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion for every campaign, over the last 30 and 7 complete days. It reads only, so budgets and ads are still changed in Ads Manager.

What will I see on the ChatGPT Ads tab?
Four tiles across the top: spend over the last 30 days with its impressions, clicks with the cost per click, conversions with the events that counted them, and cost per conversion. Under them sits a line for the last 7 days, and a table of every campaign for the last 30: its status, spend, clicks, conversions, cost per conversion and when it last changed. Click a row for the campaign's daily budget, what it bids on, its impressions and its cost per click.
The top card names your ad account and OpenAI's review of it, then lists what needs attention, read from the account itself: an advertiser review that is not yet approved, an ad account that is not running, a campaign that is on but showed no ads in 7 days, ads rejected or waiting in OpenAI's review, no conversion event set up, and spend with no conversions recorded. When nothing does, it says so.

How do I connect my ChatGPT ad account?
Create a key and paste it. In ChatGPT Ads Manager at ads.openai.com, open Settings, API keys, and create a key for your ad account; each key is scoped to one ad account. Paste it on the ChatGPT Ads tab or on the Integrations tab and press Connect. The account owner or an admin connects it.
The key is checked before it is saved: TruLata reads your ad account with it once, and a key OpenAI refuses is named on the screen and never stored. A key that works is stored encrypted, never sent back to a browser, and Disconnect on the Integrations card removes it. Revoke the key in Ads Manager and TruLata can no longer read with it.

Which days do the numbers cover?
Complete days in your ad account's own time zone. OpenAI reports delivery on whole hours and conversions on midnight boundaries, so both windows run midnight to midnight and end at the start of today: the 30 complete days before today, and the 7 before today. Spend and conversions cover the same days, so cost per conversion compares like with like. The tab names the dates and the time zone under the campaign table.
The tab reads your account when it opens and keeps that read for up to 15 minutes, and the top card says when it was read. Your CRM, Stripe, your booking platform, website leads and email statistics sit in the group a refresh moves; the live data page lists the ceiling for every source on the screen.

What counts as a conversion here?
The conversions ChatGPT Ads records for your account, and only those. TruLata reads which conversion events are set up and counts what OpenAI's conversion report attributes to each campaign. When no conversion event is set up, the tile says so and cost per conversion shows a dash instead of a number, because an unknown is not a zero. When the conversions read fails, the tile says it could not read, for the same reason.
Set up a conversion event in ChatGPT Ads and the leads it records start showing beside spend. Your own forms are a separate record: the Leads view counts every submission from your site, newest first, so the two can be read side by side.

Can TruLata change my ChatGPT campaigns from this tab?
The tab reads. It creates, edits, pauses and spends nothing, and a budget, a bid or an ad is changed in ChatGPT Ads Manager. Every call it makes is a read; OpenAI made the conversions report a POST, and that request only reads.
Where our team runs your ChatGPT ads as part of your program, campaigns, ad groups and ads are created and changed through OpenAI's ads API on that side of the engagement. See how Google, Meta and ChatGPT ads run as one program.

Questions, answered.
Does TruLata integrate with ChatGPT ads?
Yes. Paste the API key you create in ChatGPT Ads Manager and the ChatGPT Ads tab reads your ad account through OpenAI's Ads API: spend, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion by campaign.
Where do I get the API key?
In ChatGPT Ads Manager at ads.openai.com: Settings, API keys, create one for your ad account. Each key is scoped to one ad account.
Can it change my budgets or pause a campaign?
The tab reads only. Budgets, bids and ads are changed in ChatGPT Ads Manager.
Why does cost per conversion show a dash?
No conversion event is set up in your ChatGPT Ads account, or the conversions read did not answer. The tab says which, and an unknown is never shown as zero.
How fresh are the numbers?
They cover complete days, ending at the start of today in your ad account's time zone. The tab reads the account when it opens and keeps that read for up to 15 minutes.
Which tier includes the ChatGPT Ads tab?
Your dashboard carries the views its connected sources feed. The pricing page lists what each tier includes.
