See your Klaviyo campaigns and flows on the screen where your leads land.

Paste a read-only Klaviyo key and the Email tab shows every email campaign you sent in the last 90 days and every flow that sent in that time, each with its recipients, opens, clicks and unsubscribes. The connection only reads. Campaigns and flows keep running in Klaviyo, as you built them.

What will I see from Klaviyo?

Two lists. First your email campaigns sent in the last 90 days, newest first: the campaign name, its subject line, when it went out, and the counts Klaviyo reports for it, recipients, unique opens, unique clicks and unsubscribes, with the open and click rates worked out from them. A campaign that reached no one is left out.

Then your flows. Klaviyo's flows, the welcome series, the abandoned checkout and the rest, are where much of the mail goes out, so each flow that sent email in the last 90 days gets its own row with the same counts, largest first. Above both lists the tab shows how many lists the account holds.

Two lists on the Email tab

Email campaigns

  • Sent in the last 90 days, newest first
  • Name, subject, send time
  • Recipients, opens, clicks, unsubscribes

Flows

  • Each flow that sent email in 90 days
  • Largest first
  • The same counts

Why do flows get their own rows?

Because a campaign is a moment and a flow runs every day. A welcome series that reaches every new subscriber, or a checkout reminder that goes out each time someone leaves a cart, can send more email in a quarter than all your campaigns put together. A report that stops at campaigns misses where most of the mail went. Each flow row shows how many people it reached in the last 90 days and what they did with it.

The 90-day totals for campaigns weigh the open and click rates by how many people each campaign reached, so a small resend cannot swing the figure. Opens include the automatic opens Apple Mail records, and the tab notes it; clicks are the firmer signal. See the Email view.

A campaign

  • A moment
  • One send to a list

A flow

  • Runs every day
  • Welcome series, abandoned checkout and the rest
  • Can send more in a quarter than every campaign

How do I connect Klaviyo?

Paste one private API key. In Klaviyo, open Settings, API keys, and create a private key with read-only access. On the Integrations tab, paste it into the Klaviyo card and press Connect. TruLata reads your Klaviyo account with it before saving anything, and a key Klaviyo refuses is never stored; the card says why in a plain sentence. Once saved, the card shows Connected with your organization's name.

The account owner or an admin of your TruLata account connects it. On an account our team runs for you, we connect it with you during setup.

Can TruLata change anything in my Klaviyo account?

The connection reads. It lists your campaigns, flows and lists, and asks Klaviyo's reporting for the campaign and flow statistics. Klaviyo's reporting calls are requests that only read; nothing sends, schedules or edits a campaign or a flow, and your segments and lists stay as you set them. A read-only key keeps it that way on Klaviyo's side too.

The key is stored encrypted and never sent back to a browser, yours included. Press Disconnect on the card and it is deleted; revoke the key in Klaviyo and the read stops. See what we read and where it lives.

How fresh are the Klaviyo numbers?

Read from Klaviyo when you open the Email tab, then held for up to an hour. Klaviyo's reporting allows only a few calls a minute and a limited number a day, so the tab reads it once and keeps the result rather than asking on every visit.

If Klaviyo does not answer, the Email tab says it could not read that account and shows no numbers for it, never zero campaigns. Your morning briefing and Ask TruLata read the same figures. See the clock on every source.

Campaigns and flows are read side by side, because a welcome series that runs every day can send more than every campaign put together.
