Let TruLata act for you: pause wasted ad spend and auto-publish articles

Two optional rules on Settings: pause a Google Ads campaign that spends with no conversions, and publish your weekly article without asking.

#Where the rules are

Open Settings and find the card Let TruLata act for you. Both rules are off until you turn them on. Only the account owner or an admin can change them; anyone else sees Only the owner or an admin can change this when they press Save.

#Pause a Google Ads campaign that wastes money

TruLata then pauses any Google Ads campaign that spends more than your limit in 30 days with no conversions. It only does this while your other campaigns show conversions, so a tracking problem never switches off all your ads.

  1. Tick the first rule.
  2. Type a dollar limit of at least 50.
  3. Press Save under the card.

#Publish your weekly article without asking

Tick the second rule and press Save. Your weekly article then goes onto your website without waiting for your approval. This rule needs the content engine, on Launch, Growth and Command. With it off, each article waits for you on the Content tab.

#See and undo what it did

Anything TruLata does on its own shows on the tab it happened in: a paused campaign on Google Ads, a published article on Content. To reverse one, ask on the Ask TruLata tab, for example: turn the campaign you paused yesterday back on. To stop the rule, untick it and press Save.
