#Fill in About your business

Every field is optional and you can change it any time. The card shows when it was last saved.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Fill in the card About your business: Your website, What your business does, Where you work, Who your customers are, How you sound and Searches you want to win, separated by commas.
  3. If your reviews do not show on the SEO tab, paste your Google Maps link in Your Google listing.
  4. Press Save.

#What it is used for

What you enter here is what Ask TruLata knows about you, and what your articles are written from. Your website address is also the one your AI visibility and reviews are measured for, so fill that one in first.

Your Get set up checklist counts this step as done once you have said what your business does and given your website or where you work.

#Who can change it

The account owner or an admin. A member who presses Save sees Only the account owner or an admin can change settings.

You can also tell Ask TruLata about your business in plain words, for example the towns you cover, and it saves the details into Settings for you when you are the owner or an admin.

#The other cards on Settings

Let TruLata act for you holds two optional rules, both off until you turn them on. See Let TruLata act for you. Where your account shows a Cadence card, it lists how often each kind of work runs.

#Questions

Which field matters most?

Your website. Your AI visibility and reviews are measured for that address.

Do I have to fill in every field?

No. Every field is optional. The more you give, the closer your articles and answers are to how you work.

Our team runs my account. Where are my settings?

Settings shows your brand voice, target keywords, target accounts and cadence instead. See If our team runs your account.

Still stuck?

Ask on the Ask TruLata tab of your dashboard and it answers from your own numbers, or opens a ticket for a person. Or email support@trulata.com and a person on our team replies.
