Change your form's questions and what happens after sending
Reword or add questions, set the thank-you message or page, copy messages to other people, reply automatically, and send messages to your CRM.
#Open the form settings
For your contact form, open Settings, find Messages from your form and press Change the form's questions. You can also click any form on the page to open its settings. A Form block you added has its own settings and its own name, for example Careers or Warranty claim; only you see the name, in Messages and at the top of each email.
#The questions
Name and a way to reach the visitor always stay, so you can answer them. You can reword the standard questions, and choose whether the service and message questions show and must be answered.
Under Your own questions, press Add a question for up to eight more. Each can be a short or long answer, a pick from a list, a pick of buttons, pick several, a tick box, a date, a time, a number, an address, or photos or files. Add the choices one per line, a help line under it, and, under When to ask it, ask it only when an earlier question is answered a certain way.
Switch on Ask to text them to add a tick box, never ticked for them, so you have their consent before you text.
#After sending
- What the visitor reads: your thank-you words.
- Then: stay on the same page, or go to one of your pages. A thank-you page lets your ads count each message.
- Also send each message to: up to four email addresses, one per line.
- Reply to the visitor automatically: an email from your business name to the address they gave, in your words.
#Send each message to your CRM
On your contact form, paste a webhook address under Send each message to your CRM: for example GoHighLevel's inbound webhook, or a Zapier or Make hook that adds the lead to Jobber or Housecall Pro. Each new message, from every form on your site, is sent there as it arrives. Press Send a test to check it.
#Questions
Why can I not change my form's questions?
If your site uses a form from another service, its questions are changed in that service.
Can I have more than one form?
Yes. Add a Form block from Add, under Conversion, for estimates, job applications or warranty claims. A site can have ten forms of its own.
How do I change how the fields look?
In Style, under Form fields: Outlined, Filled or Underlined.
