#Paste a verification tag

  1. In the other service, choose the meta tag (HTML tag) way to verify, and copy the whole tag. It starts with <meta name=.
  2. In the builder, open Settings and find Verification tags.
  3. Paste the tag. Put each tag on its own line if you have several.
  4. Press Save tags, then publish.
  5. Go back to the other service and press its verify button.

#Which tags are kept

Only ownership tags are kept: from Google, Bing, Facebook, Pinterest, Yandex, Ahrefs, Norton, Baidu, Pocket and TikTok, up to twelve. They are on every page.

Scripts and widgets are refused here. Put those in an Embed code block, or ask us.

#If the builder refuses a tag

Not a verification tag we know means it is from a service not on the list. Looks cut short means part of the code is missing; copy the whole tag again. To remove all tags, empty the box and save.

#Questions

Do I need to verify with Google myself?

Not to be found. When you go live, we tell Google and Bing about your site and its list of pages. Verify yourself if you want your own Search Console account for the site.

Can the assistant add a tag?

No. Verification tags stay yours to set in Settings.
