Read the messages from your site's form
See every message from your site's forms in the builder, reply or call back, mark them handled, rescue spam, and download them.
#Where messages arrive
When someone fills in a form on your site, you get the message by email, and it shows in the builder under Settings, Messages from your form, newest first. If your site belongs to a TruLata account, the messages also arrive in your dashboard's Leads, and the builder links there.
#Read and answer
Each message shows who sent it, when, which form and service if any, their answers and any photos or files they attached. Press Reply to email them, or their phone number to call.
- Type in Search your messages to find one.
- Press All, Open, Handled or Held as spam to filter.
- Press Mark handled when you have dealt with one. It then reads Handled.
- Press Show older messages to load more.
#Messages held as spam
A spam check holds messages that look sent by a program: ones sent faster than a person could type, ones that fill in a field people never see, and too many from one address in a few minutes. Held messages are never deleted. Open Held as spam to see them and why each was held, and press Not spam to move one to your messages.
#Download your messages
Press Download all messages for a spreadsheet file of every message. If your site has email sign-ups, Download email sign-ups appears beside it.
#Questions
I am not getting the emails.
Check your spam folder, and check Held as spam in the builder. To send each message to more people, add them under After sending in the form settings.
Can messages go to my CRM?
Yes. Add a webhook address in the form settings. See Change your form's questions and what happens after sending.
