Read the ChatGPT Ads tab
What the ChatGPT Ads tab shows: OpenAI's review of your account, spend, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion by campaign.
#The top card
The first card names your ad account and shows OpenAI's review of it, for example Approved by OpenAI. It lists what needs attention, read from the account itself: an advertiser review not yet approved, an ad account that is not running, a campaign that is on but showed no ads in 7 days, ads rejected or waiting in OpenAI's review, no conversion event set up, or spend with no conversions. When nothing does, it says Nothing needs attention.
#The four tiles
Under them, Last 7 days gives the week's spend, clicks, impressions and conversions.
- Spend, 30 days, with impressions under it.
- Clicks, with the cost per click.
- Conversions, with the events that counted them.
- Cost per conversion.
#Campaigns, last 30 days
Each campaign shows Campaign, Status, Spend, Clicks, Conv, Cost/conv and Last changed. Click a row for its daily budget, what it bids on, impressions and cost per click.
#Which days the numbers cover
The windows are complete days, midnight to midnight in your ad account's own time zone, ending at the start of today. The dates and the time zone are named under the campaign table. The tab reads your account when it opens and keeps that read for up to 15 minutes.
#Questions
Why does cost per conversion show a dash?
No conversion event is set up in your ChatGPT Ads account, or the conversions read did not answer. The Conversions tile says which. An unknown is never shown as zero.
Can I change a budget from this tab?
No. The tab reads only. Budgets, bids and ads are changed in ChatGPT Ads Manager.
Is there a morning change watch like Google Ads has?
The 7:05am change watch covers Google Ads. The ChatGPT Ads tab reads your account each time you open it.
