Why publishing asks for a quick check

Sentences that claim results, guarantees or awards wait for a TruLata reviewer before they publish. Here is what to do when you see the check.

#What the check is

Before your site publishes, the builder reads every page. Claims about results, guarantees and awards need to be true and backed up, so any sentence making one waits for a TruLata reviewer. The window A quick check before this goes live lists each sentence and the page it is on.

The check runs on a site in any language the builder writes.

#What you can do

Once a reviewer approves a sentence, it does not need approving again, and you can publish.

  1. Change the sentence on the page so it no longer makes the claim, then publish again. Or
  2. Press Not yet and leave it for a reviewer. Your team at TruLata is told when a publish is held, and a reviewer looks shortly.

#Why it is there

The builder holds every sentence to a source: your answers, your current site or your Google listing. Reviews appear word for word from real customers. The check keeps a promise you cannot back up off your live site.

#Questions

Can I approve the claim myself?

No. A TruLata reviewer approves these. Change the sentence if you want to publish now.

Does the rest of my site wait too?

Yes. The publish waits until the sentences are changed or approved. Your site keeps showing its last published version meanwhile.

How do I ask about a held publish?

Still stuck?

Ask on the Ask TruLata tab of your dashboard and it answers from your own numbers, or opens a ticket for a person. Or email support@trulata.com and a person on our team replies.
