Export your leads to a CSV or Google Sheets
Download the Leads tab as a CSV, or send every lead with its outcome to a new Google Sheet in your own Drive.
#Download a CSV
A file named trulata-leads.csv downloads with the columns Received, Name, Phone, Email, Project, Address, Town, Message and Page. It holds every lead the tab loaded, including archived and spam rows. It opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
- Open the Leads tab.
- Press Export in the top bar.
#Send leads to Google Sheets, with outcomes
Where it is switched on for your account, the Google Sheets card on Integrations makes a sheet in your own Google Drive with every lead and the outcome your team marked on it.
- Open Integrations and find Google Sheets.
- Press Export leads to Google Sheets.
- The first time, Google asks you to allow TruLata to make sheets in your Drive. Approve it and press the button again.
- When it finishes you see Done. with the number of leads, and an Open your sheet button.
#What the sheet holds
Each export makes a new sheet named TruLata leads, your business name and the date, with one tab called Leads and the header row frozen. It covers up to two years of leads, with where each came from, the page, the message and the outcome. The card shows when the last export ran.
#Questions
Does the export update itself?
Each press makes a new sheet with the leads as they are at that moment. For a copy that refreshes on its own, open the Your data card on the Account tab: your leads, with their outcomes, are copied into a Google Sheet each morning and shared to the account owner, and you can share it to another address there.
Why is the outcome missing from my CSV?
The CSV from Export holds the lead details. Use Export leads to Google Sheets for the outcome on each lead.
Can I download everything my account holds?
The owner or an admin can use Download my data on the Account tab for a ZIP of your leads, outcomes, content drafts, AI visibility results and settings.
Google Sheets says access was removed.
Press the button again and approve access when Google asks.
