Mark spam and messages that are not real leads
Remove spam from your lead list in one click, flag existing customers or wrong numbers as not a lead, and undo a mark.

The row leaves the list and the count at once, and you see Saved. Marked as spam and removed from your leads.
- On the Leads tab, open the lead's Status dropdown.
- Choose Spam.
#Mark a lead as not a lead
Use this for a real message that is not a new customer.
- Open the Status dropdown and choose Not a lead...
- Under Why is this not a lead? pick Existing customer, Spam or sales pitch, Wrong number, Out of area or Other.
- Add a note if you like, such as who it was and what they wanted.
- Press Save.
#What happens next
A lead marked not a lead stays on the list, dimmed, with a tag such as Not a lead · Wrong number. On a self-serve account it is left out of the lead count. The count line says how many leads are marked not a lead.
#Undo a mark
- For a not-a-lead mark, press undo beside the tag.
- For spam, press show after spam removed in the count line. The spam rows come back into view; press undo on the one you want back.

No. It takes it off the list and the count. show in the count line brings it back.
Why do bots not fill my list?
Forms connected to TruLata carry a hidden field that bots fill in and people never see. A submission with it filled in is accepted and never kept.
