#Open the send queue

Open Outbound under Outreach. The Review-first send queue lists each prospect with the signal that earned the email, for example a company already running paid ads, and a status such as Awaiting approval.

Press a prospect to open the signal, the fit score, the drafted opener and its status.

#How emails leave the queue

Prospect emails leave from this review-first queue. A person releases them, or the queue releases on the schedule set for your account, and every send is logged.

Two kinds of outreach always wait for a person: a note sent through a prospect's website contact form, used when no deliverable email address turns up, and an opener to a named account you asked for.

#What an opener looks like

Each opener is four or five sentences to a named person at a named company. It says in one line what you do and makes one low-friction ask: a reply. It carries no link and makes no promise of results.

It is signed by the person whose mailbox it leaves from, and it ends with a footer carrying the sender's postal address and a one-word way out: reply no and no follow-up goes out.

#Change what gets drafted

To change the voice, use the Brand voice & tone card in Settings. To change who is picked, use the Target accounts (ICP) card. See Describe your ideal customer.

#Questions

Why was this prospect picked?

Open the row. The signal that earned the email and the fit score are on it. Where a buying-signal gate is on, only companies showing a signal, such as running paid ads or a recent raise, get an opener.

Can I write the opener myself?

You set the brief and the engine writes to it. A change to the voice applies to the drafts that follow.
