Find your way around the Content tab
What the Content tab shows: your monthly article schedule, this month's counts and a card for every article from idea to published.
#Open the Content tab
Open Content under Search & AI in the sidebar. The tab follows every article the content engine writes for your business, from the search it targets to the post on your site.
If your plan does not include the content engine, the tab says which plan carries it, with an Upgrade or Talk to us button.
#The Content engine card
The card at the top explains how each piece is made. Every piece starts as a phrase people type, between roughly 100 and 20,000 searches a month. It is researched from up to twelve current sources, gets a photograph and is filed as a Google Doc in a Drive folder for your business before it reaches your site. Nothing goes live until you approve it, unless auto-publish is on in Settings.
Below that, one line says how many blog posts the engine queues on the 1st of each month at 7am Eastern, and whether auto-publish is on or off. The Settings link in that line takes you to the auto-publish setting.
The box marked Optional: a subject you want covered and the Write one more now button start an extra article today.
#The This month card
This month counts the current month's pieces in four boxes: Queued, Researching and writing, Drafts to review and Published.
While any piece is queued, researching or writing, the tab checks again every minute on its own, so you can leave it open and watch a draft arrive.
#Article cards
Below the counts, each article has its own card with a status badge. The card shows the title, the kind of piece (Blog post, Research paper or Press release), the search it was written to win with how many people search for it each month, and the date.
Once written, the card adds the photograph, a short excerpt, a link to its Google Doc, and how many sources are cited and whether every link opened. Open Read the article to read the full text and the list Sources the research read. A published piece shows Live at with its address.
The buttons on each card depend on its status: Approve, Edit, Copy text, Dismiss, Try again or Try publishing again.
#Questions
Why is the Content tab empty?
No articles have been made yet. Your first pieces are queued on the 1st of the month. Press Write one more now to start one today; research and writing take about 15 minutes.
The tab says it could not read my articles. What now?
Refresh in a moment. The message means the list did not load this time, not that anything was lost.
Will anything publish without me?
Not unless auto-publish is on. The line at the top of the tab says which it is.
