#Add a sign-up box

Open Add and pick Email sign-up under Conversion. Visitors type their email to get your news. The offer pop-up can carry a sign-up button too.

#See and download sign-ups

Each sign-up shows in Settings, under Messages from your form, as signed up for your news. Press Download email sign-ups for a spreadsheet file of them. The Website tab on your TruLata dashboard counts the last 30 days.

#Add sign-ups to your email list

From then on, each new sign-up from your Email sign-up block is added to that list. The card says how many have gone so far. Your key is checked as you connect, kept encrypted, and never shown again.

Where to find the key: in Mailchimp, your profile, Extras, API keys, Create a key. In Klaviyo, Settings, API keys, Create private API key, with Lists and Profiles set to full access. In ActiveCampaign, Settings, Developer.

  1. In Settings, under Add sign-ups to your email list, pick Mailchimp, Klaviyo or ActiveCampaign.
  2. Paste your API key. For ActiveCampaign, paste the API address too. The line under the box says where to find them.
  3. Press Connect. If your account has more than one list, pick the list and press Use this list.
  4. Press Send a test sign-up to check it.

#If a sign-up does not go through

The card tells you when the last sign-up did not reach your list, and why. If your key changed, connect again. Press Disconnect to stop sending sign-ups to the list.
