Read, search and filter the Leads tab
What each column on the Leads tab means, how to search and filter the list, and how to open a lead's full details.
#The list
Open Leads in the sidebar. Every lead from your connected sources is listed newest first under a Live badge. On a self-serve account the card reads Leads · last 90 days.
Each row shows Received (when it arrived), Name, Contact (a phone number, or the email if there is no phone), Asked about (the service or project), Came from (the source) and Status, where outcomes are switched on. Some accounts name the last columns differently to match what their forms ask, for example Project and Town.
#Search and filter
Type in the box Search name, phone, email, message... and the list narrows as you type. It searches the date, name, phone, email, project, source, message, page and address.
The dropdowns beside the box list only values that are actually in your leads. Pick a source under All sources, or one service, to see only those leads. If nothing matches, the list says No leads match that search.
#The count line
Beside the filters, a line counts your leads, or shows N of M leads while a filter is on. It also says how many are not yet marked contacted, how many are marked not a lead, how many spam leads were removed and how many are archived. The last two have a show link that brings those rows back into view.
#Open a lead
Click a row. It opens with the Phone, Email, Project, Address, Town and Page the form was on, and the full message. A lead that left no message reads No message left.
Where Outlook sending is switched on for your account, a lead with an email address also has a Reply button.
#If the list is empty
Nothing is sending leads here yet means no lead source is connected. Press Open Website to build a site with the website builder or connect the form on the site you have.
No leads yet. New ones appear here the moment they arrive. means a source is connected and has not sent a lead.
If the tab cannot load for a moment, it says so. Leads from your website form are still emailed to the account owner in the meantime.
#Questions
Why does the count differ from my Overview?
Leads marked spam, archived leads and, on self-serve accounts, leads marked not a lead are left out of the count. The count line names each of them.
Can I see leads older than 90 days?
The self-serve list covers the last 90 days. Where it is switched on for your account, Export leads to Google Sheets covers a longer history, with outcomes.
How fast does a new lead appear?
The list is live. A lead shows the next time the tab loads after it arrives.
