Take bookings, reservations and stay requests
Let visitors request a time, a table or a stay on your site, or put your existing booking page right on your site.
#Take requests on your site
Open Add and, under Conversion, pick the block that fits:
- Booking requests: people pick a day, a time and a service.
- Table reservations: a day, a time and how many people.
- Stay requests: check-in and check-out dates and the number of guests, for rooms and rentals.
#What happens with a request
The visitor sees a thank-you saying you will be in touch to confirm. You get each request by email, it is kept in Messages from your form, and it is sent to your CRM like any form's messages. You confirm it with the customer yourself.
Each of these blocks is a form, so you can change its questions and what happens after sending: click the form on the page. See Change your form's questions.
#Use the booking page you already have
Your booking page then shows right on your site, with a link to open it in a new page if a visitor has trouble. It works with services such as Calendly, Square, Acuity, Jobber and Housecall Pro. If yours is a different one, tell us and we will add it.
- Add the Online booking block.
- Click where it says to paste the link, and paste the https link to your booking page.
#Show rooms and rates
The Rooms and rates block, under Business, shows each room or rental with its price a night and what it has. Pair it with Stay requests.
#Questions
Does a booking request book the time automatically?
No. It is a request. You confirm it with the customer.
Can I take payment for a booking?
These blocks take requests only. If your booking service takes payment, show it on your site with the Online booking block.
