#Click and type

Click any words on your site and type. Changes save as you go. Undo and Redo sit at the top of the builder, and every change can be taken back.

This works for headings, paragraphs, buttons, the menu and the footer. Press Done on the small toolbar, or Ctrl or Command + Enter, when you finish.

#Format your words

When you edit a paragraph, a toolbar appears above it:

  1. B, I and U make the chosen words bold, italic or underlined (Ctrl or Command + B, I or U).
  2. Color puts the chosen words in your main color. Press it again for a soft color, again for highlighted, and once more to go back to the text color.
  3. Link links the chosen words to one of your pages, or to another website starting with https://.
  4. • List and 1. List make a bulleted or numbered list.
  5. Subheading turns the line into a subheading, then a smaller one, then back to a paragraph.

#Have the words rewritten

Press Rewrite and choose Shorter, Longer, Simpler, Friendlier or More formal. You get three versions to pick from. The one you pick replaces the words and saves like typing. A rewrite never adds a claim your words did not make.

A heading shows Rewrite on its own, without the formatting buttons.

#Change a button

Click a button's words to change them. To change where it goes, press Goes to and pick one of your pages, Call your phone number, Text your phone number, Email you, or Another website with its address.

#Questions

Do I need to press Save?

No. Changes save as you go. Publish puts them on your site.

I changed something by mistake.

Press Undo at the top, or Ctrl or Command + Z.

Why does a heading show only Rewrite?

Headings take their look from Style, so they match across the site. To change how every heading looks, open Style and find Headings: weight, letter spacing and capitals.
